Thale Ban national park , one of a few remaining rain forests that have narrowly escaped from massive rubber plantation in the Thailand's southern peninsula close to Malaysia.
Rain forest covers both lowland areas and high elevations where forested crags add to the dramatic scenery. This area receives rain from April to November with the heaviest falls during June to October. The driest months are December to March. The hottest temperature is recorded in April and December the coolest month.
