Khao Sok Bird Watching


This magnificent national park, is within reasonable proximity to the popular tourist  destination of Phuket. The park is surrounded by green mountains with abundant and  protected wildlife. Programme to Khao Sok National Park will give you the opportunity to view lakes, waterfalls and jungle life, literally in the middle of nowhere.

Many species of birds live within the park. It is possible to site up to 7 species of  Kingfishers and resident Hornbills on a daily basis. Various monkeys including Gibbons  and long tailed Macagues also make appearances throughout the day. Elephants and  Tigers do reside in Kao Sok and occasionally make a "guest" appearance

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 : Khao Sok National Park.
 

-Air port pick-up to Khao sok. (Phuket or Suratthani Air port) 
-Arrive at Khao sok check into Bungalows./ Lunch.
-Start the afternoon bird watching program, explore White-crowned Hornbill,Hooded Pitta,Red-throated Sunbird,Plain Sunbird,Purple-naped Sunbird,Banbed Kingfisher,Black-backed Kingfisher,Green Broadbill,Maroon Woodpecker and other birds.
-Return back to Bungalws for Dinner
-Overnight at:Bungalows near the Park.
-Meals:L/D
Day 2 : Khao Sok National Park.
 

-Breakfast/Early more bird watching.
-Lunch/Check out/Transfer to Rajaprabha Dam.
-Arrive at the Dam,than transfer by Long taled Boat to Floting Bamboo Bungalows.
-Start the afternoon bird watching,You'll see Great Hornbill,Bushy-crested Hornbill, Oriental Pied Hornbill and other birds.
-Return back to Bungalow for Dinner.
-Overnight at:Floting Bamboo Bungalows
-Meals:B/L/D

Day 3 : Khao Sok National Park.
 
-Breakfast/Early morning bird watching.to explore Stork-billed Kingfisher,Blue-eared Kingfisher,Lesser Fish-Eagle,Bat Hawk,Wallace's Hawk-Eagle,Blyth's Hawk-Eagle,Black-thighed Falconet and other birds.
-Return back to Bungalows for Lunch/Check out.
-in the afternoon return back to your hotel or air-port.
