Doi Angkhang Bird Watching
Doi Angkhang is one of the best bird watching sites in Chiang Mai, Doi Angkhang has varieties of bird species, find some rare bird is the Hume’s Pheasant around stand of pine trees above 1000 metres,you will see Common Buzzard, Rufous-winged Buzzard, Mountain Bamboo-Partridge and other speceis. Birds of prey include the Crested honey buzzard, Oriental hobby and Black eagle and other birds.
Remark: in June-August easy to see Giant Nuthatch and other birds.
